Otona no meruhen: Tsuru-san no ongaeshi
The last of my current Otona no Meruhen collection. We have a Shizuru.
This Cd is based off another Japanese folk tale, Tsuru no ongaeshi.
Only in this adaptation the genders are reversed.
The heroine is out in the forest one day and rescues a crane caught in a hunters trap.
Having turned into a human to pay back the favor Shizuru shows up on your door step.
I personally love this one to bits.
Sweet, effeminate boys with some backbone always win with me.
The female lead is a tough little thing that Shizuru is always truly trying to help.
Its pretty cute and I really loved his affections for the heroine.
This one is probably my favorite of the three.
I totally recommend reading the original fairy tales in this series.
Its always fun to brush up on old folklore and mythology.
